My better, more creative half

I’m often asked what my wife is doing. Is she working? What will she do at post? Will she work there? To be honest, we don’t really know what she’s going to do and we’re not all that stressed out about it. She’s enjoying some well-deserved rest after working crazy theatre hours the last few years.

When people ask me what she does (or did) I generally say that she made costumes for a theatre or that she’s a seamstress. I always feel this description is woefully inadequate. Jennifer makes Martha Stewart look like a trained monkey with some burlap and a pair of safety scissors.

So, please, go over to her blog and check out some of her most recent work. For heaven’s sake — look at the monkey!

The messenger bag turned out great! My husband was just telling me yesterday he doesn’t really like his Timbuk2 bag that much, the velcro is too loud and it looks sloppy all the time. So weren’t you smart not to buy one? I would love to take classes at FSI, but instead I’m watching my five year old hop around the hotel room with my husband’s shoes on his hands prentending to be a frog. For three more weeks until we get to post. Good luck to you, love both your blogs.
