Help Wanted

Steve Clemons at The Washington Note has some speculation as to who will be the new Deputy Secretary of State. The position has been open for several weeks since Robert Zoellick left the job and is the second highest ranking position with the Department of State.

Just Say No to Kilts?

Although the United States is mostly oblivious to the fact that qualifications for the European Cup are going on right now, it is something a good chunk of the rest of the world is very aware of. A team from Scotland along with hordes of kilt-wearing fans recently decended on Ukraine for a match with Dynamo Kiev. Apparently, they didn’t receive a very warm welcome.

1 Month of Russian Down

I realize I have neglected to discuss my Russian training yet. I’m not really sure what to say. 7:40 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day. All Russian, all the time. I think I’m progressing well, yet feel like I can’t saything. How can that be?
