Sports Analogies in Ukraine - Part 2

I love Google’s Analytics program. It essentially analyzes every little thing about your site. How many visitors you have. Where they come from. What pages they click on. Who subscribes to the blog. What keywords they search for and subsequently end up here. Going over the data provided I have learned two very important things about this blog.

1. I don’t have many readers.

2. Most of those that come to this site are coming to this post from last year.

In a feeble attempt to recreate the magic of the post that lured so many visitors, I thought I would write part two to the post. From what I can gather, the magic formula that I used in that post can be summed up thusly:

Sports Analogy + Picture of Hot Ukrainian Woman + Picture of Wacky Ukrainian Comedian = Big Ratings

In the previous post I used:

“Outkick your coverage” + Milla Jovavich + Yakov Smirnoff

So here we go again…

I’ve blogged before about the wife hunters who come to Ukraine. They get here and see all the beautiful ladies walking around and assume finding a lady will be a “slam dunk.” (I’m not going anywhere with this story. I just needed to get a sports analogy in.)

Now we upload a picture of a beautiful Ukrainian woman. In this case I’ve chosen Mila Kunis. She was born in Kyiv and lived here as a child before moving to the U.S.

A beautiful Ukranian American woman.

A beautiful Ukranian American woman.

Now we add a kooky Ukrainian comedian. I couldn’t come up with someone better than Yakov Smirnoff in the comedy field so I went with Verka Serduchka instead. S/he was the runner-up in the 2007 Eurovision contest and is a Ukrainian comedian/musician.

A wacky Ukrainian.

A wacky Ukrainian.

Now I should just have to sit back and wait for the readers to flock to me.
