I haven't found any quilting cottons yet, but there are great silks and wool for suits. There is yarn, but it's mostly acrylic and rather pricey (especially since it's acrylic!). Counted cross-stitch is very popular here - kits and DMC floss is readily available. I haven't done much cross-stitch in the past few years, so I may have to pick it up again while I'm here. :) That's a bummer about supplies in KL...I have a feeling availibility of craft supplies (or lack thereof) is going to be one of the hard parts about Foreign Service life for me.
