Shawn has been very disappointed with me that I have not blogged about this before now. I think the weirdness of the situation just overwhelmed me and I wasn’t really sure where to file it in my brain. But in order to make him happy, here’s who we saw randomly just a few weeks ago:

And you know how we knew it was him? He was dressed in that outfit (although I think it was in green)!
Here’s the story: On a Friday evening a few weeks ago, we were meeting friends at Jazz in the Garden at the National Gallery of Art. By the time we got there, the place was packed and we started pushing our way through the crowd to find our friends. We come around a corner of people, and lo and behold, there’s a dude in a Riddler suit standing there looking lost.
Shawn literally stopped in his tracks, turned to me, and said: “Look! It’s that guy!” Because we have no idea what his name is…he’s just the crazy guy that screams about free money on tv. I’m not sure I even responded, other than standing there and staring. Even though there were hundreds of people in the area, there was a four foot circle of emptiness around him as everyone else stood and stared with me. I was completely dumbstruck not only by the fact that he actually exists but more by the fact that he wears that suit in public.
So there it is.

If Shawn was so concerned about this story, why didn’t he post it on his blog? Oh wait, he has updated that in forever!
Thanks for sharing!
