About

These are the chronicles of an American experiencing daily life while living abroad. As with any adventure, the exciting moments will be balanced with many average ones. This is an outlet for the wide spectrum of events and emotions in my life.

A few facts:

My husband works for the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. We’re currently living in Nassau, The Bahamas while he works for the Embassy here. I also work at the Embassy, but I manage to do a few other things in my free time. Prior to his assignment here, we lived in Kyiv, Ukraine.

My life is full of transitions and challenges, which I plan to discuss in this forum. And you’ll probably find out a lot about my hobbies as well, including (but never limited to) sewing, knitting, quilting, and reading.

I hope you enjoy the blog and you can always e-mail me here.
